A Gulf Breeze home after Hurricane Isaias: the hip roof corner peeled to the framing, a tree across the driveway, and a car crushed under it
The beaches get the news coverage, but Isaias crossed Santa Rosa Sound and kept going. This is a residential claim we represent on Angel Court in Gulf Breeze, flown five days after landfall. The street-level pass at the start shows the whole block: limb piles at every curb, the same thing on every street in the subdivision. Then the drone drops onto one house.
The hip roof corner over the garage is torn down to the rafters, with the fascia, soffit, and decking hanging off the brick. A tree came down across the driveway and onto a vehicle with its rear glass and roof crushed. The side fence is flat and the backyard pool enclosure took debris. On a Florida homeowners policy that is the roof system, the interior below the opening, the fence (other structures), the pool and patio, and the debris removal, each with its own line and its own limit. The hurricane deductible comes off once, not off each line.
If a tree or a roof opening is your Isaias story in Gulf Breeze, Pensacola, or Navarre, call us before the carrier's field adjuster writes it up as a patch. We document it from the air and from the ground the same week.

Street-level pass down Angel Court. Limb and debris piles stacked at every curb on both sides, a leaning oak over the roadway.
- 0:30
Straight-down plan view over the house: the hip roof, the driveway, a tree lying across the drive with a vehicle underneath it, the cul-de-sac beyond.
- 0:45
Close on the garage corner of the roof. The hip is torn open to the rafters, decking and insulation exposed, fascia and soffit boards hanging down the brick.

The driveway at eye level. A white SUV with the rear glass shattered and the roof crushed, a second vehicle beside it, limbs and sand across the concrete.
- 1:15
The downed tree from the side yard: the trunk across the lot, the wood privacy fence laid flat under it, leaves and limbs over the ground.
- 1:30
Low over the backyard: the pool, the paver deck, the screened patio roof, and neighboring houses with damage behind the fence line.
- 2:00
Pull back over the front elevation: the brick house, the garage, the driveway, and the vehicles, with the roof corner damage in frame.
